Oh hey there fall, didn’t see you there! As the trees start changing colors, we’re getting into my favorite season. Dark lipstick, pumpkin flavored everything, beanies, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.
I love autumn. From bundling up in layers to Halloween, everything about fall is simply the best. Here in Northern California, it hasn’t quite gotten the memo. The weather is still pretty warm, I still go to the beach regularly, and did I mention we’re in a drought?! I’m anxiously waiting for the day I break out my boots and scarves. Even though it’s a tad bit warm, I wanted to style an outfit that has some fall inspiration, but still wearable in these temperatures. I love maxi skirts because they’re so light and flowy. As a female of a smaller stature, it’s hard for me to find the perfect length without dragging feet of fabric along the floor. I usually just go with midi skirts; I call them the maxi skirts for short people (I know all my petite ladies know what I’m sayin). I paired the skirt with this sweater shirt and together they make the dream team! This outfit is definitely one of my more conservative looks, but I still love how comfortable and chic it is.
